A powerful Poem written by the famous poet Maya Angelou who read this at Clinton's inauguration 1/20/93. She has mentioned all Americans and I will just give one part here (for obvious reasons)
"There is a true yearning to respond to
The singing River and the wise Rock
So say the Asian, the Hispanic, the Jew
The African, the Native American, the Sioux
The Catholic, the Muslim, the French, the Greek
The Irish, the Rabbi. . . . . . . . . . . . "
But in another place she says
You, created only a little lower than
The angels have crouched too long...."
This caught my eye because I remembered:
Farishtay say behter hay Insaan banna
Magar iss men paRti hay mehnat Ziyada
Islamic concept of Man being superior to Angels is a contrast from her expression
