I wrote something before about this
I had not mentioned it before but sometimes it is distasteful to observe obvious mistakes by the writer or film maker who may be Hindoo and not familiar about Islamic observations but then do they have no good Muslim in their team to advise them correctly?
I just started to watch the beginning of one in which Sunny Deol is shown a Muslim (and BTW in his private life he is reported to have accepted Islam so that he can have a second marriage but not Muslim in practice) The scene is of a prison where he is shown making Wuzu and namaz being an Imam of other Muslim prisoners
He performs wuzu where he washes his half arms and on one side only and then washes face three times. That is WRONG in wuzoo, the face is washed first (after hand washing) and then the arms and the SEQUENCE is fixed cannot be changed, incorrect sequence makes it just ordinary washing and NOT wuzu. Then he is shown sitting on Musalla in its middle whereas the Muslim stands and sits on one end of Musalla to perform Sajda on the othe other end area of Musalla but this mistake can be forgiven
I ignore the times of how long they sit to perform salaam but that is common in all movies Bollywood or Hollywood. That also reminds me of how Hollywood showed ordinary salaam jn ther movies whixh was their understanding only.
For God sake ask a practicing Muslim the correct ways before filming such things It completely betrays the ignorance of the film maker
