I wrote about Fake news on 24th November 2017, so where is the truth?
Now I see this art of lying and making up fake things is not all that new but has been practiced before albeit a bit less commonly as compared to the modern internet era.
Yesterday I learned about a whole program about the interview of the late Princess Diana in 1995. Some journalist by the name of Martin Bashir(Pakistani origin?) Had gotten fake Bank notes made out to convince her about that affair (already known to her and everybody else between Bowles woman and her husband Prince Charles that eventually resulted in divorce and Princess Diana's losing Royal titles etc. being left alone and unprotected (may have been a factor in her so terrible end. The journalist was capitalizing on the known affair of Prince Charles and BBC apologized to the Royals but the children of Diana were more disappointed and use harsh words for Martin and BBC. (I don't blame them at all) Martin Bashir is in critical condition with COVID and resigned a week ago from BBC
But if I remember BBC had a unique reputation of being the most precise and most dependable of all the news media. Now I have completely lost faith in all media. Truth is rare indeed.
