I have written about filmi music previously twice or may be three times Many songs tunes are derived from one or more Rags here I have found the following Rags to be most popular;
1. Rag Bhairaween - more than 30 popular songs
2. RagPahadi - more than 20 songs
3. Rag Ayman Kaliyan 15 songs
4. Rag Dabari kanada - 14 songs
5 Rag Bheem Palasi - 9 songs
And there are others less common I have found There are my calculations of songs known to me so evidently there are more numbers. I have given here to indicate what re most popular tunes of calssical or semiclassical filmi songs
MInd you the songs here are the ones known to me personally Others may find more but the numbers tell us clearly which tunes are most popular
