This is quite a unique art of expression of stories or names of individual or organizations and quite remarkable indeed.
I got interested in finding out who developed the famous 9 stroke Sylhuette of Alfred Hitchcock. Google confused me. One place it said he himself developed it as he used to be a commercial artist before turning to Cinema business and another was a famous commercial or sylhuette artist by the name of Saul Bass who is well known for many many famous sylhuettes
Be that as it may I was so intrigued first by that figure of Alfred side view being turned into that sylhuette which is even more recognizable that his own picture and come to think of it each of the nine strokes is so expressive and recognizable now that even less then 9 (may be five) of them can still be adequately representative of this fellow, just Amazing art
