Some words are interestingly similar or almost so in widely different languages. It all started from the Quranic word " abter" (in sura Kawsar) for example:
The meaning is one who does not have continuation of generation or generation has cut off. Well in Panjabi it is called " auttar" (sort of changing ba sound with wow sound) and meaning is the same (more commonly used as bad name or gaali) . Also Arabic ( also Quranic) word " Faum" meaning garlic known in Panjabi as " Thaum" What in English is expressed as Much is also in Panjabi called "Muchch" although pronunciation slightly different
Also Arabic for Earth is pronounced almost exactly like earth. One more addition is hawk (not the bird) but hawking loud calling of hawkers who sell stuff and in Panjabi same like calling out somebody "Hauk marna"
