Aah Mr. Edhi

 Mr. Abdus-Sattar Edhi who migrated to Pakistan from Gujrat area and lived the simplest life was a poor man who started with help for the poor people and became rapidly the most dependable person for  helping poor so that any one would gladly give him money for charitable purposes. Once some money was needed and he stationed himself out on a street in Karachi "begging for money" when rich people saw him standing they rushed to their banks and brought hundreds and thousands of rupees to deposit with him and he had crores collected in one afternoon. Such was his selfless personality and most reliable and dependable and now he was 92 at the time of his death and was head of the largest charitable organization of Pakistan with so many clinics ambulances copters etc. not only in Pakistan but all over the world.
 Some times ago somebody called him "mother Teresa of Pakistan" but he was not that he was much more than mother Teresa and he was called a mawlana because of his long beard and Islamic traditions not because he was some graduate of Islamic school . He was examplary in his way of life simplest and never claimed anything more than a poor man's belongings, a small house and some clothes to wear and simple daily meals of two times He undoubtedly the most popular simple man in Pakistan and like Qaid-e-Azam he refused to go to England for treatment of his illness He would rather spend that money for the poor of his country.
What an example he has left for us
