Culture, second marriage/Parent Trap

   I guess (considering my age) you dont necessarily want to hear about this subject but let me explain my view.
 I just finished watching (second or third time now) an old movie of my liking "Courtship of Eddie's father"
 You are all familiar with Glen Ford an accomplished actor and the child portrayed by Ronny Howard who later became a director/producer of high quality himself after going through the famous "Andy Griffith Show" and "Happy days".
  Other movies like "Parent Trap" also tell us about the cultural aspect of a single parent trying to raise a child or two and the child/children trying to get a "second mother" of their choice. You see that also in other movies like "Au Pair" or even "Back to the future" A really engaging and intriguing theme but it is so only in the Western culture; eastern culture has no such equivalent (at least so far as I can tell)
  I cant recall any Bollywood movies with such theme but May be there have been in the past that I may not be aware off.

  Parent trap movies that I have enjoyed are ones  done by Lohan in 1998. I just watched an Indian old movie of Kajol and Sunil Shetty and Rishi Kapur Called
  " Kuchh Khatti Kuch Meethi"
 Kajol playing the twin has done good job and story is eastern culture oriented The twins do not plan extensively for bringing parents together but fits our culture with some exaggerations This was made in 2001. fair story.

 I had not watched" Do Kalian"  (Bollywood) before and I just did it now. I found it was based on  or copy of "parent trap" of 1961 which I have watched also (Hollywood ) This stars, Biswajit, Mala Sinha and Nigar Sultana Mehmood and Om Perkash. Enjoyable and the twin girl played well the part by a girl I do not know. Nigar sultana is much heavier in this movie and plays terrible grandma very well
