takbir

As a child I remember going for Eid prayers with my father who said takbir loud and we followed him. I did the same with my children as they were growing up- saying
'Allah-o-Akbar x3 and la ilaha illallah  and Allaho-Akbar Allahoakbar wa lillah-il-Hamd"
And I hope they will continue to teach their children the same. Of course this repetition  "wird" of takbir is carried on in Masajid after salat for the day of Eid-ul-Fitr and for three days on Eid-ul-Ad-ha and it is a good tradition for men. For women they are supposed to say takbir in whisper.
Now at this age I have become more aware of WHY (not just because my father taught me so)
  Verse #185 Sura Baqara "Shahro Ramadhan. . . . . . . . wa litukabbir-ullaha ala ma hadakum wa la-allakum tashkuroon"
  And again in Sura Hajj verse# 37: "LanyyanalAllaha. . . . . . litukabbiru-allaha ala ma hadakum wa bshshiril-muhsineen"
 I purposely wrote "arabic form"
English equivalent is "glorify Allah for this" which in my understanding is ' say takbir repeatedly'
Allah has given details in these and other related verses about how to fast and what to do at hajj etc. the "how' of such acts of worship and then said "say takbir repeatedly" for what Allah has guided you on. All the beautiful exhilerating acts of worship that enhance us spiritually have been given by our creator and were performed 'in practice' by our great teacher beloved prophet Muhammad SAWS. each and every detail of how to fast how to break how to this and how to that there would be along list.
 Can you beat that?
Is it not therefore for us to love Allah SWT who taught us all these things? Is it not proper that we should keep repeating these beautiful words and then He Himself told us to do because we are totally ignorant human beings (zalooman jahoola) and He knows that too who taught Adam AS the words to ask for forgiveness after taking the forbidden fruit.
And that does not do justice to the takbir of Allah SWT like Allama said
"Haq to yeh hay keh Haq ada na huwa"
I remember this takbir that delighted me tremendously when we were coming out of Masjid-el-Haram after the Maghreb prayer on the last day of Ramadhan (we were at Umrah during the last Ashara) and we hear rakbir- some men were standing in a group and reciting that as we walked toward our hotel to prepare for Eid the following day and travel back to USA.
So-called routines and rituals of 'religeon' but we only know some of their real meanings
