Second Post

My 'teachers' of blog made their comments to help me feel encouraged masha-Allah. My personal feelings starting from Raihana ending (temporarily) with Issa. Ayesha! you will not mind my combined thoughts instead of focussing only on Musa. We were sitting at Hassan's (My son) and waiting for Shabana and Akram to come [My most favorite neice, (out of a total of 8nieces and 16 nephews) and her husband]. Situation was sober as Sarwat (My better half) was listening to Qur'an being recited by Hassan. And there was a short break. Ayesha (my daughter) and Rabiah (my daughterinlaw) were standing nearby at the stairs and smiling at us, coming down from the upper story and I thought , what have they been up to, upstairs? There was somewhat of a mischief , it appeared , in their eyes. They had something up their sleeves I thought and sure enough they finally descended and sat down on the rug. Ayesha opened her mouth and with a big smile associated with a giggle-like thing declared "I am Pregnant" At first I did not catch the meanings and looked at her with surprise almost not believing her. Nobody said anything and she repeated that "I am pregnant" "O my God" exclaimed Sarwat (her usual way of expressing surprise).
That started the happy and excited discussion. Then along came Shabana and Akram to share the good news. Little did Shabana know that she will find the same "indisposition" affecting her next day and Rabiah also within the next two months. That is the way it happened and Raihana (beautiful daughter of Shabana and Akram), Musa (The beloved son of Ayesha and Usman) and Issa (the most wanted son of Rabiah and Hassan) were born, in that order (and hence my thoughts in that order)
"O, my beloved grand-daughter Raihana, piyari baitee, we were all so anxious of your arrival into this world. You have been one of 'the most wanted' in our family. You have opened your eyes into this world of troubles and tribulations in which to seek moments of happiness, May Allah provide them in plentiful baitee and may you bring more and more joys to your beloved parents (and grandparents). May you grow up to be a salihah Muslimah preserving and polishing your eemaan, ('faith' somehow fails to produce the same connotation that the Urdu or Arabic word 'eemaan' does), in the highly 'contaminated environment' of this present world. There will be difficulties, obstacles, impediments and outright opposition that will demand your innermost psychological strength to overcome them. Be prepared and Allah will be with you baitee to make you accomplish whatever you want to. He is on your side, remember that. Never loose heart. Yes evrybody makes mistakes even "Amman Hawwa and bawa Adam " made it, but Allah is most forgiving, most merciful and He will forgive you, so dont worry about them. May you have all the good that future holds for you , aameen." O my beloved grandson Musa, piyaray baitay, May Allah SWT grant you a heart like that of Hamza RA, strongly focused faith of Tawheed like that of Musa AS, Solid knowledge (Ilm) like that of Ali RA. May you bring all the joys to your parents and grandparents. You will have a lot of tasks to do, like, to achieve high standards in scholarship, to be the best in everything so we all will be proud of you but let that be for your own personal enhancement rather than the reason for making us "proud". You can do it. Somebody said on hearing your name for the first time, "Good, we need Musa because there are so many "fir'aons" in this world today. ("Her fir'ownay ra Musa" ) Persian saying, meaning that every firown has a Musa. Yes there is need for "sabr" in every undertaking in the way of Allah. You will need a lot of it, but dont ever give up the pursuit of justice and let no opposition or confrontation restrain you. May Allah grant you the strength and fortitude for that and increase the strength of your eemaan daily in your life. Seek knowledge from original sources and the most available original source of all knowledge is Qur'an Majeed. The more you learn about that the more you will be convinced of the truth in that statement. Will it surprise you if I say that Man could not have landed on the moon had there been no Qur'an. Yet that is the scientific truth though not many people know it. For further thoughts wait for further times. O my beloved grandson piyaray baitay Issa, May Allah SWT grant you a successful life in this world. I pray for your and your father's happiness together. May you have a lot of joyful years of life together. O wait! you think I am ignoring your mother?. Well not really, this prayer is gender-specific' because somehow I feel I missed my 'fathership' with your father. May be I wanted to accomplish more fatherness than I was actually able to. To continue May you bring a lot of joys to your parents and grandparents. Remember there is more written (Hadeeth) about loving and respecting your mother and dont forget that. That is not 'culture' but religious teaching, biologically proven There are difficulties in life I see for you, as in everybody else's; you must prepare yourself with knowledge and firm resolve to tackle them, never loosing the way of peace and justice. Like your name-sake prophet Issa (jesus) AS bring 'healing' for the humanity, that is suffering from all kinds of illnesses of poverty, injustice, inequality, wars, unchecked base desires of men and women ( in the name of freedom of saying and doing everything one wants). May Allah give the strength and fortitude for all that. Aameen. may Allah give you the love of Qur'an in addition to that of Eemaan. You will discover in Qur'an the love for the prophet SAWS. Know that man because he is the universally acknowledged person in the human history not just by Muslims but nonMuslims acknowledge that too. We all love you, but for me there is a special place, for you are my first Pota, which is something you will only understand when you have your own first pota someday in sha-Allah."
